SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS:
How does a neuronal network change due to experience? Which morphological and physiological changes underlie learning processes? I want to work towards elucidation of these questions by analyzing functional network connectivity in cultured brain slices. For this I want to employ functional optical imaging techniques in combination with electrophysiology.
