SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS:

Psychiatric conditions such as major depressive disorder, which is one of the leading causes for disability worldwide, have a great influence on different aspects of life and offer researchers a challenging puzzle.  Therefore, I'm interested in researching cellular and molecular basis of mental diseases. One of my major goals is to search for new pharmacological solutions that will improve treatment of these diseases.
