SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS:

For a long time I have been particularly interested in the role of the immune system in degenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Especially modern imaging techniques have aroused my curiosity. But I am also happy to get insight into neuroplasticity as required in learning and memory processes and the connection of brain cells on a network level.
